Sony Ericsson Xperia X12 without Android Gingerbread

The device won’t sport a 1GHz processor but instead an 800MHz one similar to the T-Mobile G2 and HTC Desire Z.
It has a 12-megapixel camera, large 4.3-inch display with 854 x 480 resolutions that matches the HTC Evo 4G and 720p video recording capability.

While the vanilla Android 2.1 has installed on the prototype device in lab is burning fast despite the 800MHz processor, he states that it will most likely come with the Sony Ericsson UI overlay (Timescape, Mediascape, etc.) which will know doubt cause lag on the Android.

Eldar also expects Sony Ericsson to be adding their own customization on top of the Android interface, and also seems disappointed in the build of the device as a whole, claiming that although the device feels thinner and lighter than the X10, it also feels cheaper to the touch.
