BlackBerry Torch 2 is a QWERTY device with a 3.2 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 640 pixels. It is powered with 1.2 GHz processor running on its dedicated BlackBerry 6.0 OS.

BlackBerry Torch 2 comes with a standard 5 mega-pixel camera clicking images with a pixel density of 2592х1944 along with auto-focus and LED flash Geo-tagging, continuous auto-focus and image stabilization. BlackBerry Torch 2 includes a 3D hardware accelerator with an internal memory of 8GB along with 512 MB RAM.

BlackBerry Torch 2 also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPRS and EDGE with A-GPS feature for finding locations. A microSD card is supported expanded up to 32 GB. There are other tools and apps into the handset that includes Digital compass, Document Viewer to view all MS-office files and MP3/WMA/WAV/eAAC+ player.
