HTC T8788 to Bring Windows Phone 7 to AT&T

Wednesday September 29, 2010

Dubbed HTC T8788, the newly speckled Windows Phone 7 smartphone can be accepted though specific details on it are limited for the time being. Even so, one can easily see from the said photos that this device should sport a sliding form factor when released on the market. While many may expect for this handset to be set to show a valuable successor of a popular HTC handset, the Touch Pro2, also a landscape slider, it seems that they might be a little disappointed.

It’s a QWERTY keyboard, even if it is a landscape slider, but it hides a speaker under the touchscreen display. This is not something that was not seen before, and should turn the upcoming mobile phone into a nice media device, it seems, and the kickstand around back is expected to provide a helpful hand in this direction. For what it's worth, it seems that HTC is trying to add some originality into the mix, and this leaked device should prove different from what other recently leaked handsets are set to become.

However the speaker might easily turn this Windows Phone 7 device into a multimedia powerhouse. Unfortunately, no other info on this handset's specifications emerged for the time being, except for the fact that it should pack support for AT&T's 3G network.
